This work by Peruvian artist Geenss Archenti is inspired by the master Gilberto Mahua, a healer from the Amazonian community of Paoyhan, whose Shipibo name is Soi Meni (messenger of light). In the image, Gilberto smokes mapacho, and through that sacred smoke, he purifies the space and communicates with the invisible. Surrounding him is a magical display of kené patterns, snakes, and the jaguar (ino), which represents silent strength and vision. A composition that honors ancestral wisdom and the deep connection between human beings, nature, and the path of healing.
